Does this sound like i have an optical migrane?
I sometimes (mostly vry few times) get migranes that feel they are coming from my eye (cant remeber which one). Yesterday i had one in the eving ad theni took advil and it went away in half an hour. But today suddenly i was watching tv and i couldnt see properly from my left eye. I tried reading the time on the digi clock and i had trouble beacsue it felt liek one of the numbers was missing....and my eye felt distracted...almost as if i coulf not focus properly on the time.....do i have an optical migrane? should i see the doctor..is it dangerous?
generally, medicines like advil will not cure migraines. optical migraines are migraines that result in vision changes, not necessarily ones that feel like they are coming from your eye. you might be having migraines, or simply headaches with vision changes; either way, you should go see the doctor. if they are unable to diagnose you, they will refer you to another doctor who can- either a neuro-doc or an ophthalmologist.
