Oliver Peoples Eyeglass
Where to buy the Oliver Peoples eyeglass frame "Coolidge 140" online? (NOT just any Oliver Peoples frames).
My eyeglass frames broke right at the bridge. My optician says my vision insurance requires me to get a whole set of lenses, exam and frames and cannot give me a discount on the frames alone. The cost for all of it is about the same and all I want to do is buy the same frames, take out the glass, which is fine, and put the glass in the new frames. The optician wants $375 for the frames. I gotta believe in this day I can find them MUCH cheaper somewhere online but all Google searches are fruitless. I need this EXACT frame: Oliver Peoples "Coolidge 140" in either black or blonde. Am not interesting in sites with Oliver Peoples frames, there are loads of those, I know, unless they have this particular frame that is. Thanks.

Email her and ask her if she knows where that frame is available at, or if she can give you the manuacture sku number. Worst she could do is not reply, and if she does bad business for her. I bet she could find somehwhere in your area that still has it. And you might want to shop around. That optical can't be the only one selling Oliver Peoples...I used to sell glasses and we would give 25% off frame onlys. Obviously if you can't find it online, it may be discontinued which means someone has it cheaper. I also don't know how long ago you got them...probably 2 years if your insurance kicked back in....but they might have a manufacture warranty and possibly keep the parts somewhere. All you need is the bridge, which is a seperate part and we use to stock seperately. That might save you some $ too. Just because this one optical isn't helping you, there is someone out there who will. The thing is they get more $ billing your insurance and selling you a complete pair, and it sounds like that's what they are trying to do. There is a way around it. even if you have to take it to a jewelry store for a little solder. Good Luck
