What if Mars' position from the Sun was located from a distance where it could flourish with life?
If the planet were to have been as lucky as ours, and it was allowed to flourish with life along the same time frame as Earth, what kinda of life could it have created? Would it be like plant life or small organisms?
Or what if beings like us were to evolve there.
Would they be of lesser intelligence to us or just as smart or more intelligent? What would space exploration have been if we were to communicate? Would they feel threatened by us or vise versa?
What possibilities could we have had? And would you have liked to see something like that?
If Mars was in the "safe zone" (not to close or far from the sun) i believe it could be very close to what we have on earth.
I'm sure there would be cellular forms of life, but human form might not be as plausible.Prolly more like animal forms rodents, lizards etc.even bigger life close to the dinosaur type.
Unless there were an actual intelligence on Mars, there wouldn't be any communication at all.It would be more like trap-shooting or game hunting.Astronauts/Scientists would want to collect samples and further their knowledge.
As for the threatened part,if it was intelligence we found, there would be more of an interest from both parties,so no i dont think so.
But if it was just cellular or rodents etc.as i said before ,then yes they may feel threatened.
I think it would be one of the greatest acheivements in history to actually meet and communicate with another alien race!!! Fannnnnnnnnnnnntastic ;p
